Accountant

Providing clients with a full suite of Accountants and Financial Advisers along with our partners in Lending, Baker Advice Group ensures that whatever you are trying to achieve, we will strive to get you there by aligning our client's goals and objectives with their vision and purpose.

You will be responsible for the preparation of financial statements, tax returns and business activity statements for all business entities, as well as assisting with the management of our client base across a variety of industries, identifying compliance concerns and opportunities as they arise, and researching and providing advice on technical matters.

The successful applicant will have:

• XPM and Xero experience (preferred)
• Previous experience in other cloud-based accounting programs is highly regarded. Any other accounting software knowledge would also be a bonus.
• Broad knowledge of Australian tax fundamentals
• Exposure to or management of clients
• High level of interpersonal skills
• Ability to work autonomously to achieve outcomes
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
