Well established in the Australian market and with a Brisbane based head office, our client is a global player in the logistics space. Working closely with the Finance Manager, this is a rare opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join their high-performing team on a full-time permanent basis. About the role:
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the responsibilities of the role include:

• Overseeing the Accounts Payable function and workflow
• Management of Accounts Payable inbox – including allocation of tasks
• Full-function Accounts Payable processing
• Matching, batching, and coding of invoices
• Entering of supplier invoices and processing of payments
• Continuous review and improvement of AP processes
• Supplier payment reconciliations
• Responsible for ensuring that all AP deadlines are met.
• Answering all internal and external AP related queries
• Other ad hoc projects and tasks within the scope of the role.

About you:
To be successful for the role, you must demonstrate the following:

• Demonstrated experience in the role accountabilities.
• Strong attention to detail, organisation, and time management
• Highly systems savvy and experience using a large ERP system.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated experience with system/process improvement is highly advantageous.
• A positive, team-focused, and “can-do” attitude.
