Accounts Payable Officer

A subsidiary of a global business, our client is a recognised leader in the field of equipment design, manufacture and service for the construction/infrastructure sector. They have a long-standing reputation globally and are well-positioned for an exciting period of growth, supporting the significant pipeline of infrastructure projects across Australia. This is a rare opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer to join the Finance Team in a standalone role, on a full-time, permanent basis.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, the core responsibilities of the role include:

• Full-function Accounts Payable processing
• Matching, batching, and coding of invoices
• Preparation and processing of payment runs
• Bank and credit card reconciliations
• Management of the AP inbox and resolving queries
• Accounts Receivable - maintenance of the debtor's leger
• Assisting with various process improvements, projects, and admin tasks within the scope of the role.

To be successful for the role, you must demonstrate the following:

• Demonstrated experience in the role accountabilities
• Construction industry experience is highly advantageous
• Strong attention to detail and organisation skills
• Strong with systems and proficient with Microsoft Excel
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• A professional and positive attitude.
