An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and motivated Accounts Receivable / Credit Officer to join their team based in Laverton, on a permanent basis.

Position Description

Reporting to the Credit Manager and working within a small team, you will be responsible for:

• Daily reconciliation of the accounts
• Follow up on outstanding debt
• Collections of overdue / outstanding payments - via phone and email
• Providing high level of customer support to varying internal and external stakeholders
• Handle and assess credit applications
• Allocation and receipting of payments
• Collaboratively participate in strategic planning and continued process improvement
• Reporting duties and ad hoc tasks as required

The successful applicant will have proven experience in a similar Accounts Receivable / Credit Officer role, as well as the following attributes

• High level numeracy and reconciliation skills
• Demonstrated ability to confidently work autonomously as well collaboratively in a team environment
• High level time management skills & the ability to meet deadlines
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Personable nature and ability to build relationships with key stakeholders
• Ability to thrive in a high volume and fast paced environment
