Assistant Accountant

Our client is a global fashion retail group with their head office in the US. Currently they are seeking a driven Assistant Accountant to join their dynamic finance team for an immediate start.

In this role, you’ll play a key part in shaping how the finance function supports the wider business, helping to drive efficiency, streamline operations, and contribute to achieving and exceeding the ambitious goals.

The Role

This opening comes about due to continuous expansion and is a great foot in the door. Reporting to the Finance Manager, your responsibilities will include:
 

• Assisting with month end & year end
• Journal entry preparation
• BAS preparation
• Reconciliations - Balance sheet and P&L
• Review Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable
• Audit preparation
• Adhoc duties as required
   

About you:
 

• 2+ years' in a similar role before
• Have started your CA/CPA Program
• Excellent communication & stakeholder management skills
