Associate

 

Description:

As an Associate, you will be closely involved in the development and construction of CIP’s renewable energy projects in Australia such as onshore wind, battery, solar or hydro projects. You will form part of the team and will help with analysis, presentations and decision material, for example by analyzing budgets, risks, schedules, delivering reporting for Steering Committee meetings with internal and external owners. You will assist with implementing project management standards and project delivery model.

Responsibilities will further consist of :

Analytics
 

  • Providing detailed analytics with a focus on the investments’ risk mitigation and value creation initiatives including for example financial, technical, contractual, or commercial related topics
  • Delivering high quality reporting to CIP’s senior management on the investments’ performance and status
  • Close interaction and collaboration with the local companies and project partners to support and optimize project delivery
  • Interacting closely with the senior team members the CIP, CISC and project teams
     

Project Management
 

  • Analysis of project schedules, critical path and float assessment for projects
  • Assist with Risk Management Plans, and consolidate and maintain Risk/opportunity baseline, risk & opportunity register, monte carlo simulations, contingency assessment, and drive the commercial optimization agenda
  • As part of a new organizational structure, facilitate implementation of the CIP project model, stage gates and governance requirements
  • Ensure project costs are tracked using the CIP standards and financial management requirements and can be analysed to support key decisions
