Auto Electrician

Description:

We’re seeking Trade Qualified Auto Electricians to apply for opportunities with our Maintenance East teams across the Bowen Basin; Saraji, Goonyella, Peak Downs and Caval Ridge sites.

Transportation to site is provided from nominated points specific to each team and will be discussed during the recruitment process.

You Will
 

• Carry out scheduled and breakdown maintenance of all heavy mobile equipment including trucks, dozers, drills and excavators
• Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and identifying and rectifying faults
• Initiate updates to work procedures to ensure they are accurate and relevant to equipment
   

About You
 

• Trade Qualified Auto Electrician (Cert III in Automotive Electrotechnology)
• While experience working with mobile equipment such as Caterpillar, Komatsu and Liebherr is desirable, it is not essential
• Previous experience within mining is preferred
• Demonstrated diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Can commit to 7/7 rotating roster
