Business Development Manager

We are a growing ‘scale-up’ business in all states of Australia and looking to expand to both NZ and US. We are well-invested and are looking for a Head of Customer Success to expand and join our team to grow professionally and collaboratively in Sydney.

The Role:

• Develop and manage a sales pipeline through all stages of the sales process
• Identify new business opportunities to sign on new customers and drive strategic upsells
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging networking, prospecting, and relationship-building techniques
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, acting as their primary point of contact
• Understand clients’ needs and challenges, and recommend appropriate solutions to address their pain points
• Work with the Customer Success Team to ensure customer service excellence is maintained, and participate in renewal discussions to meet retention targets
• Collaborate with our Marketing Team to develop and execute demand generation campaigns

The Ideal Candidate:

• Demonstrated experience in sales, previous experience in B2B business development preferred
• Excellent understanding of sales methodologies, and a proven track record of consistently overachieving against sales targets
• Experience using modern CRM, Sales and Customer Success platforms
• Well developed business acumen and understanding of SaaS technologies and metrics
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate desired outcomes
