Business Development Manager

Description:

As Business Development Manager (TRaCE), you will bring your passion for clean energy and recycling, to develop and support delivery of strategic initiatives that will enable industry-university research collaborations. You will utilise a range of new initiatives including a SME Innovation Voucher (Small to Medium Enterprise) Program and Industry-Academia Mobility Program, to support the development of new partnerships and opportunities, and contribute to a thriving innovation ecosystem for the recycling and clean energy sectors.

In this role you will:

• Lead and grow a pipeline of business opportunities by supporting collaboration between industry and academic staff, driving commercial revenue.
• Build and develop relationships with a range of stakeholders to identify opportunities, promote the University’s research capabilities and support entrepreneurship initiatives.
• Work closely with the University’s Knowledge Exchange and Enterprise teams to optimise your model of service, manage priorities, and provide reporting on research contracts, intellectual property agreements and financial matters relating to TRaCE research projects.
