We are currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Specialist to join our thriving team in Sydney. This position will focus on expanding our industrial client base.
Your Responsibilities:
- Cultivate and manage customer relationships while overseeing daily industrial sales activities in Sydney, NSW, to achieve sales targets and drive sustainable, profitable growth.
- Expand your territory by securing and increasing sales of gas/liquid products with both new and existing customers.
- Develop comprehensive proposals, detailed costings, and contract documents to optimize profitability for all business transactions.
- Foster strong relationships and manage contracts for customers within your designated sales territory, ensuring long-term, commercially profitable partnerships.
- Complete all required paperwork and reporting in accordance with standard operating procedures.
- Identify and promptly address safety and health hazards, risks, incidents, near misses, and accidents.
- Provide support for internal and external auditing activities within your responsible area.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Possesses 2-5 years of experience with industrial equipment, welding, or power tools within an industrial environment.
- Ideally, has 1-2 years of experience in a sales role, selling into industrial markets.
- Demonstrates a strong understanding of the sales process for account development.
- Exhibits excellent communication and presentation skills.
