The Technical and Engineering Network is looking for Charge Up Operator
Your Responsibilities May Include
- Be organized and prepared to undertake all assigned tasks by the Supervisor.
- Assembling, positioning and detonating of explosives in the underground mine.
- Handovers and technical support to be shown to the team
- Detect and resolve any misfires.
- Demonstration of excellent housekeeping standards.
- Interpretation of plans and stope preparation.
- Report explosive usage for all undertaken firing.
The Ideal Candidate
- Holds a valid “C” Class Drivers license.
- Holds an Underground Shotfirers/Charge Up Ticket.
- Holds a Dangerous Goods Security Card.
- Proven experience working underground.
- Able to pass the pre-employment criteria (medical and police clearance).
- Has a motivated and positive attitude with an open approach to all issues.
- Has a dedicated commitment to the Health and Safety of all team members.
