Civil Engineer

Description:

We require a Civil Engineer to support our client's Rail-based Sustaining Capital projects portfolio for their well-known Tier 1 owner/operator client. The position will be based in Perth, CBD with an initial 12-month contract.

You will provide a demonstrated proficiency and experience in detailed earthworks engineering design supporting their client's Rail projects across their mine sites.

You Can Also Expect To
 

• Work on a variety of complex heavy-haul greenfield and brownfield civil design projects.
• Enjoy a variety of technical challenges as you work on earthworks, civil and road design scopes of work.
• Assist in ensuring the drawings and design documentation meet client requirements.
• Work on project material take-offs and design reporting.
• Develop leadership and mentoring skills through training junior engineers
   

Our Ideal Candidate Will Bring With Them
 

• Bachelor of Engineering degree in Civil Engineering.
• Several years of Civil Engineering experience.
• Demonstrated proficiency and experience in detailed earthworks engineering design.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to build positive professional relationships.
• Understanding of rail and track projects is preferred.
• Current and unrestricted right to work in Australia.
