Civil Project Manager

TEN Recruitment are in partnership with a local civil contractor with an excellent reputation for delivering civil construction projects throughout the Perth metro area. The company has a diverse project portfolio with values ranging up to $25m and work in areas such as Land Development, Bulk Earthworks, Road Construction etc.

Due to recent tender success the business is now recruiting a Project Manager to lead the construction of a large commercial subdivision project in the metropolitan area. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established contractor with over 30 years trading history who have a strong pipeline of work in the metro area, affording their staff stability of work and an excellent company culture.

Duties
 

• Perform detailed project planning, including work breakdown structures, resource programs, detailed schedules, cost schedules, risk management plans, and project management plans to deliver projects within time, cost, and quality criteria.
• Monitor and track project performance against delivery milestones, taking proactive and decisive action to maintain project delivery according to plan.
• Manage project scope and address variations in accordance with project contracts.
• Ensure compliance with HSE standards and provide a safe workplace environment for all project staff.
• Drive process improvements and productivity initiatives in project works.
   

Experience
 

• 5+ years of experience in project management / project engineering within the Civil Construction industry.
• Experience working on land development / infrastructure projects.
• Strong experience in project contract and commercial management.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering and/or Project Management qualifications desirable.
• Experience working for Civil Contractors in WA.
• MUST BE RESIDING IN WESTERN AUSTRALIA AND HAVE FULL WORKING RIGHTS.
