Located in Melbourne’s South Eastern Suburbs, our client are currently navigating an exciting phase of growth and transformation in their well-established organisation. To support this, they are seeking an experienced Company Accountant to partner closely with the Finance Manager and broader leadership team.

Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, this is a hands-on accounting role where you'll take ownership of month-end processes, compliance reporting, and financial insights. You’ll also act as a key contributor to the finance function’s efficiency and accuracy as the business continues to scale.

Key Responsibilities Include But Aren't Limited To
 

• Partner with the Finance Manager to manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance reporting.
• Assist in preparing Year-End accounts and coordinating external audit activities.
• Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making and business growth strategies.
• Ensure compliance across key areas including BAS, PAYG, FBT, Superannuation, and Payroll Tax.
• Deliver monthly management reports including P&L, Balance sheet, job costing, and debtor/creditor updates.
• Complete Month-end tasks such as journals, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Streamline financial data and improve reporting accuracy.
