Coordinator

Description:

As part of our production department, you’ll work closely with our Creative Director and Post-Production Supervisors, and other key stakeholders in managing and completing post-production for short form (Commercials, Music Videos & Short Films) and long form (Television / Feature Films) projects that brings the creative vision to life, while managing costs and adhering to deadlines. The Producers and Production Co-ordinators are creative partners, responsible for evaluating a project’s feasibility, identifying potential pitfalls, and finding unique solutions to any production problem. The ideal applicant should have an in-depth understanding of the post-production process, as well as a strong knowledge of production partners in the advertising industry. This includes directors, agencies and production companies etc.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and managing production budgets
• Assist the creative team with production ideas
• Assist business development team with quotes for productions
• Assisting and managing the team of artists across projects
• Schedule and managing artists and resources to maximise quality and productivity of work
• Overseeing the delivery of projects on schedule, on budget and to a high-standard
• Working with clients and key stakeholders
• Ensuring a personable and professional experience for all clients and production partners
• Working with the strategy and account management teams to ensure client goals are met
• Promote a collaborative and enjoyable workplace.

Required Skills + Experience

• Minimum 2+ years (or demonstrated equivalent) assisting, managing or co-ordinating post-production for live-action or digital film & television projects.
• Proven ability to plan and manage productions
• Demonstrated advanced relationship management and networking skills and the ability to establish effective relationships both internally and externally.
• Technical and creative problem solving with a can-do mindset.
• A team oriented mentality with a 'get it done' attitude
• An ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment
• An driven and self-reliant work ethic
• The ability to be adaptable, flexible and proactive when it comes to troubleshooting
