Cyber Security Engineer

Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and autonomous Cyber Security Engineer to join a thriving cybersecurity team. You will be responsible for the implementation of information security systems and preventing cyber security risks across the group.

Key Responsibilities
 

• Review, consolidate, and streamline the orgainsation’s Information Security policies.
• Act as technical SME for system security design and implementation.
• Identify and manage the implementation of security products and technologies to reduce information security risks, focusing on authentication, access controls, remote access, endpoint encryption, security patches, identity management, threat management, and forensic security systems.
• Review policies for IPS/IDS systems and oversee event reporting.
• Lead testing of recovery from information security incidents.
   

Qualifications:
 

• 3+ years working in cybersecurity-related roles.
• Hands-on experience with Okta, Mimecast, and CrowdStrike.
• Strong communication & senior stakeholder management.
• Strong knowledge of cyber security best practices and industry standards.
