Data Manager

Description:

This role is an on-site contract position available at various locations throughout India. as a Kafka Data Manager. As a Kafka Data Manager, you will manage streaming data pipelines within Kafka and lead system design and implementation of data processing solutions within the Apache Kafka ecosystem.

Qualifications:

• Strong experience with Apache Kafka and Apache Zookeeper, including managing production Kafka/Confluent infrastructure and real-time stream processing
• Strong experience with Kafka connectors and Kafka REST APIs, and implementing data ingestion and egress strategies
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with Big Data platforms such as Hadoop and Spark
• Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and data architecture
• Experience with Java, Python, and Scala
• Excellent knowledge of system design principles and patterns as well as experience with Git and Agile development methodologies
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills, and experience leading and mentoring other team members
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field
