Destination Marketing Officer

We're looking for marketing superstars to join our Government client! A part time Destination Marketing Officer is needed until the end of June. If you have marketing experience and are open to a part time temporary contract, read on!

What's involved?
 

• Managing social media accounts - creating and managing content, scheduling posts (Facebook/Instagram)
• Producing a monthly newsletter for stakeholders (Campaign Monitor)
• Assisting with the managing of the website (Kentico CMS)
• Managing inbox
• Updates to Visit Newcastle website
   

What do we need?
 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related qualification, and/or demonstrated capability through past employment experience.
• Extensive marketing experience, use and optimisation ofn websites and social media platforms to build brand awareness and drive campaigns
• Tourism marketing or experience in the tourism industry would be an advantage
• Excellent communications skills both verbal and written
• Available to work 14 hours per week, ideally Monday - Tuesday (there can be some flexibility around this)
