Electrical Team Lead

Design & Build Recruitment are currently assisting a globally recognised Engineering Consultancy as they search for their next senior hire in Australia. Following some large project wins, the company are looking to add a senior engineer to lead and guide the electrical building services team based in Adelaide.

Responsibilities
 

• Oversee the design and development of electrical systems and components across various projects in South Australia.
• Manage projects from inception to completion, effectively handling timelines, resources, and budgets.
• Effectively manage the electrical engineering team based in the Adelaide office.
• Collaborate closely with other engineering disciplines, architects, and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems within the overall project framework.
• Provide expert guidance in electrical engineering, including troubleshooting and problem-solving.
   

Requirements
 

• 10+ years electrical engineering experience, ideally in a consulting environment.
• Significant experience in the building services industry, including LV, communications and security.
• Defence project experience will be looked upon favourably.
• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering.
• People leadership experience.
• Registration as a Chartered Engineer/Chartered Professional Engineer/RPEQ, or the ability to attain on short notice.
