Executive General Manager

Description:

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Executive General Manager – Employment is a key member of the Executive team. This person will be responsible for taking Aruma’s disability employment in a new direction by helping evolve their long-established supported employment and creating new pathways to open employment through nurturing new corporate partners who know the benefits of employing people with a disability. In addition, the EGM Employment is responsible for:
 

• Managing a national team to facilitate delivery and implement business plans in line with Aruma’s strategic vision.
• Developing and leading a transformational growth strategy to enhance existing business and drive new corporate partnerships.
• Ensuring quality control through a standardised national model delivering operational excellence.
• Enhancing staff engagement to foster a high-performing team culture that delivers quality outcomes and an outstanding customer experience.
• Ensuring budgetary and financial compliance in line with funding arrangements.
   

About You

For this appointment Aruma are seeking a proven leader who brings commercial leadership and comparable functional experience gained in a similar environment. You will have a track record of driving an engaged, collaborative, accountable and agile culture that supports the delivery of high-quality customer focused services. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving new avenues of growth while enhancing those pre-existing.

Candidates with the following skillsets and experience are encouraged to apply:
 

• Tertiary degree or qualification in Health or Business-related discipline.
• Significant experience in senior leadership roles within Health and Human Services and/or Manufacturing, Wholesale or Retail.
• Successful track record of generating business through new avenues, particularly corporate partnerships.
• Proven commercial understanding and experience overseeing budgetary compliance and financial targets.
• Commitment to Aruma’s core values and code of conduct.
