Finance Manager

Description:

As the Finance Manager, you will report to and work closley with the Finance General Manager and oversee a team of two full-time employees and one part-time employee in a large open-plan office. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include daily cashflow analysis, approval of accounts payable and receivable, all financial reporting, financial tracking and analysis on tenders/projects, and general administrative duties.

Responsibilities:

• Full financial reporting
• Daily cashflow management
• Forgein currency purchases
• Review new employee’s contracts and compliance
• Management of company finances
• Monitor and verify balance sheets
• Prepare and lodge Payroll Tax, BAS, Superannuation
• Adhoc Administration duties

Skills and Experience:

• 5+ years of experience in a Senior Financial position within a construction/engineering/manufacturing (or similar) company
• Tertiary qualification in Accounting or Finance
• Knowledge of Bank Guarantee and Retention processes
• Experience with Payroll Tax, BAS, and Superannuation lodgements
• Audit experience or assisting with audits
• Understanding of tender/contract preparation and submission processes
• Previous experience managing a team is highly advantageous
