Description:
We are seeking an experienced Sous Chef / Front of House Supervisor Couple for this busy property located in Outback South Australia.
This award-winning property offers accommodation, caravan park, restaurant and shop. Spend your days off taking in the dramatic scenery, amazing outback sunsets and abundant native wildlife.
A supermarket with ATM facilities, petrol station, several hotels & cafes and public conveniences are available at the nearest town
- Typically a five day week (need to be flexible)
- Accommodation $120 per week (total)
- Evening Duty Meal Included
- Two bedroom furnished cottage
- Assist the head chef with managing a small but busy kitchen
- Hands on cooking for either breakfast, lunch or dinner (both groups and individuals). Venue is open for dinner 7 days per week. Breakfast and Lunch as per groups
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Supervise junior staff (one other chef / kitchen hand)
- Other duties as required
- Manage a small team of front of house staff (2-3)
- Provide excellent customer service
- Brief guests on menu and beverage selections
- Seating guests, taking orders, serving drinks
- Stock control, ordering, stocktakes
- Maintain cleanliness and presentation of front of house areas
- Ensure responsible service of alcohol practices are used
- Cash handling, balancing, reconciling
- Other duties as required
- Candidates must have a current drivers licence and their own vehicle as accommodation is located 7 mins from the property
- Optus mobile coverage with patchy Telstra
- Employers will consider pets
- Front of House Supervisor must have or be able to attain RP Badge
- Around 15 staff live on site
