German Teacher

Description:

Reporting to our Learning Area Lead for German & French at our Caulfield Campus, this teaching position will be teaching German to our secondary students. As a valued member of our team, you will be part of making a real difference by positively impacting our student experience and contributing to our School community.

This is a part-time with a 0.6 FTE fixed term contract for Term 3 only, based at our Caulfield Campus. The successful applicant will demonstrate a strong passion for the German Language and commitment to professional development and will also be comfortable utilising learning technologies.

Key Duties
 

• Deliver learning programs that demonstrate a research-based knowledge of how students learn, including integrating formative practice and providing continuous feedback
• Prepare instructional activities that facilitate engaging and appropriate learning opportunities for all
• Provide a safe and supportive classroom culture
• Contribute to our visible wellbeing program to enable students to thrive and belong
• Model and live the Caulfield Grammar School values and behaviours
  
   

Skills And Experience
 

• Hold a current VIT Registration
• Hold a Teaching Qualification alongside exceptional knowledge in German
• Experience teaching at MYP and VCE levels would be advantageous
• Demonstrated commitment to professional development
• Ability to connect positively with students and show genuine care for their learning
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team
