Guest Services Agent

Seeking an experienced and customer-focussed hospitality professional for this unique opportunity.

Hays is currently partnered with an elegant accommodation hotel to recruit a Guest Service Agent in a permanent capacity for an immediate start.

As a Guest Service Agent, you will assist in the day-to-day front office operations delivering excellent customer service. This role offers you the opportunity to work with industry professionals and a close-knit team at a well-established property in Central Geelong.

Responsibilities will include:

• Assisting in the Front Office daily operations
• Responding to guest enquiries via phone, email, or in person and making reservations and recommendations
• Assisting with guest arrivals and departures, following set check-in / check-out procedures
• Achieving guest satisfaction targets and exhibiting excellent customer service

To be considered for this role, you will have:

• Experience in a front office (guest / customer facing) position
• Self-motivated and a genuine passion for hospitality and customer service
• Knowledge of Front Office, Reservations, Housekeeping, and Guest Services ideally
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work closely with all hotel departments
• Excellent time management skills
• Friendly, outgoing personality and a high standard of personal presentation
• The ability to act without prior authority in all matters concerning the safety, security and well-being of all hotel guests, patrons, and staff in the absence of Hotel management
• A desire to work independently and as part of a team environment
• Excellent computer system skills
• Experience with RMS Online would be desirable
