About The Role:
- To ensure the clinical care of patients is provided in a person-centered care manner, within the philosophy, mission and values of the Mater Hospital, Sydney.
- To ensure all patient care delivered is done so within the scope of practice of the relative practitioner.
- To plan and manage the delivery of patient care and ensure it is done in accordance with policies and procedures of MHS and St Vincent’s Health Australia (SVHA).
- Ensures the confidentiality of patients and staff is maintained and communication and interpersonal skills are effective and appropriate.
About You:
- Current AHPRA Registration.
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing/Post Graduate qualification in clinical nursing or management or working towards.
- Minimum 5 years clinical experience in specialty.
- Ability to demonstrate clinical knowledge in the specific area of practice with a commitment to professional development and clinical teaching.
- Ability to clinically manage one’s self and others, to create a transformational leadership environment.
