Description:
This role is central to the company’s growth strategy and will focus on building long-term investor relationships and securing capital for future strategic objectives. You’ll act as a company representative to investors and play a key role in the company’s investor growth strategy, responsible for cultivating relationships, educating investors, and managing the investor pipeline with care and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and expand the investor and referral network through proactive, nurturing relationship building.
- Nurture and grow relationships with existing and prospective investors
- Respond to investor queries with clarity and empathy, offering informed guidance on investment structure, risk/return profiles, and performance.
- Lead investor meetings, presentations, and events with confidence and professionalism.
- Design and implement a strategic growth plan to meet capital raising targets.
- Identify opportunities to generate new investor leads through events, partnerships, and speaking engagements.
- Track and report on engagement activity, pipeline, and capital raised.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align messaging, investor experience, and deal flow.
- Maintain accurate CRM records and oversee communication workflows across the investor lifecycle.
What You Bring
- 5+ years’ experience in investor relations, private wealth, capital raising, or a similar investor-facing role.
- A strong understanding of investment structures, market dynamics, and investor expectations.
- Proven success in raising capital from high-net-worth or sophisticated investors.
- A consultative, low-pressure style focused on long-term relationships.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a natural ability to build trust and simplify complex information.
- A proactive and self-motivated approach with the ability to work autonomously and collaboratively.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate technical details into compelling conversations.
- Tertiary qualifications in finance, property, or commerce are preferred.
- Experience using CRM tools (ActiveCampaign or similar) and managing investor pipelines is highly regarded.
