Legal Counsel

Description:

This is a great opportunity for a Lawyer/Associate with 3+ years PQE, and 3+ years of investment funds/asset management experience.

Responsibilities

• Advising the business on Australian legal requirements for the development and management of investment products;
• Advising the business on adapting to legal and regulatory changes;
• Drafting and reviewing legal contracts;
• Drafting other legal documents such as product disclosure statements and compliance plans;
• Completing legal and regulatory documentation; and
• Managing external legal service providers, where appropriate.

Skills

• Applicants must be admitted to practice law in New South Wales.
• At least 3 years of post qualification experience (ideally in investment funds/asset manegment). 
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment, both under supervision and autonomously.
