Description:
Our office is located in Sydney CBD, Australia however, you will be assigned projects within the Greater Sydney Metropolitan area.
Key Responsibilities
- Installation and Modernization of lifts, escalators, and travellators and work to the highest safety and environmental standards whilst ensuring that service targets are met.
- Maintain company tools, equipment, and materials in good order and safeguard such property.
- Perform work in accordance with the relevant lift industry codes and standards, maintain and work to the Quality System
- Attend customer handover inspection/service inspections on installation and modernization projects.
- Ensure timely completion of defects identified during service / handing over inspection in coordination with the Project Manager.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and help facilitate continuous improvement to satisfy the customers of your processes.
- Comply with the company's Environmental Health and Safety policies and procedures including reporting any conditions which may impact on the environment or any employee.
What You Will Need To Be Successful
- Possess some Mechanical or Electrical background/experience.
- Has experience in the elevator industry and proven ability to work safely as part of a team or independently depending on requirements.
- Experience in Adjustment / Commissioning work would be beneficial.
- Enjoys communicating with various levels of stakeholders and working closely with others in the field.
- Solutions-oriented, independent, and well organized.
- Willing to travel in & out of the region and able to work unsupervised.
- Has the ability to perform knowledge transfer on information and skills through training.
- Able to plan and prioritize tasks and complete in a timely manner.
