Management Accountant

Description:

There’s a mix of local and offshore team members (including AP in the Philippines, and a soon-to-be-hired AR), so clear, regular communication is key. The environment is fast-paced but friendly, collaborative without politics, and ideal for someone who brings good structure and an ownership mindset.

WFH is not available during the first six months — the focus is on embedding into the team and building operational cohesion.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage monthly close and financial reporting across 30+ entities
  • Oversee intercompany transactions, allocations, and reconciliations
  • Supervise AP/AR processing and review account coding for accuracy
  • Prepare and lodge BAS and FBT (payroll is handled separately)
  • Maintain compliance across balance sheet accounts
  • Support system alignment and reporting via Xero, JOIIN, and Mayday
  • Contribute to ongoing acquisitions and integration projects

Who You Are

  • Degree-qualified Accountant (CA or CPA completed or near completion)
  • 4+ years’ experience in public practice or commercial group environments
  • Comfortable with multi-entity structures and intercompany complexity
  • Confident with reconciliations, reporting frameworks, and compliance lodgements
  • Proactive communicator who collaborates and checks in with stakeholders
  • Brings structure, curiosity, and an ownership mindset to their work
