An opportunity has arisen to join a well-established, global, mid-tier advisory firm offering services in Tax, Accounting, Financial Advisory, SMSF and Audit.

This will be a very hands-on role working in a well established team. You will provide support to a wide portfolio of clients with a mix of tax clients and business services through exceptional service.

The ideal candidate:

• Proficient in Xero, in particular with payroll, tax, work papers and financial statements
• Proficient in MYOB AE including preparing fees and document manager
• Experience with and understanding of Division 7a, CGT (including small business CGT concessions), franking accounts, what to include in a tax reconciliation, interaction of depreciation rules, SGC forms
• Experience in reviewing individual tax returns, BASs, IASs, payroll tax returns and FBT returns.
• Highly regarded - experience with Termination payments, QBCC reporting, Land tax
• Clear understanding of family group structures with regards to the interaction of trading and/or investment entities with individual and/or corporate beneficiaries.
• Clear understanding of the positives and negatives of different structuring options
• Ability to complete tax planning including profit and loss projections
• Ability to research a topic and confidence to draft basic advice
