Mechanical Service Technician

Description:

Reporting to the base Supervisor, the Mechanical Service Technician will be based at Teams Wingfield Service Delivery Centre. The position will require travelling to our clients’ sites on a regular basis to fulfil the needs of our varied clients.

The successful applicant will be working closely within a team environment, with a strong focus on Safety and Quality. The role demands excellent organizational, time management and prioritization skills along with excellent communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities

• To work unsupervised in both workshop and on-site environments
• To comply with company policies and procedures.
• To promote and market Teams’ services, products and business solutions
• Maintain accurate documentation in line with AS/NZS ISO 9001
• To assist fellow employees in a supportive manner as an integral part of working in a team environment
• Responsible to maintain the cleanliness/tidiness in the immediate area of your work, both in the workshop and on site.

Requirements

• Fitter and Turner, Fitter Machinist (Tradesmen or 4th Year Apprentice)
• Ability to travel and be away from home for extended periods of time
• Must hold a valid Australian Driver’s License
• Must hold a Construction (White) Card
• Ability to work shiftwork, weekends and Public Holidays as required
• Ability to work in remote locations
• Ability to climb ladders up to 50 meters
• Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to work with minimal supervision, set priorities and work to deadlines
• Good written and verbal communication skills in the English language
• Ability to work to tight tolerances
• Ability to pass pre-employment medical
