Mental Health Senior Clinician

Description:

You will be part of the Community Plus team, a hybrid MST and HOPS program. It's a recovery focused multi-disciplinary team who provides an extended hours clinical service to people who live within the municipalities of Wyndham, Hobson's Bay and Maribyrnong. In addition to experiencing mental illness/mental health problems your clients will have other health and psycho social needs that significantly impact their wellbeing. With your team's support, y ou will facilitate comprehensive responses for your clients’ needs and as senior clinician you will provide support and leadership within the team.

• Permanent Part-Time Role: OT3/SW3/P3/RPN4 (6 shifts per fortnight)

• Recovery based service delivering evidence based treatment for mental illness 7 days/week
• Engagement with external service providers to develop integrated support systems
• Based at our Saltwater Clinic in vibrant Footscray

About You

• Registered with AHPRA as a Clinical Psychologist, Occupational Therapist, or Psychiatric Nurse or; An approved degree in Social Work and eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers
• Experience in managing an independent caseload, and delivering treatment or care to people experiencing mental illness using a recovery based framework
• Experience with and understanding of interventions and services that support clients with complex interconnected needs
• A willingness to provide support and supervision to junior staff and students
• Visa sponsorship and up to $10,000 relocation allowance available to eligible international candidates
