About The Role

An exciting opportunity exists for an Occupational Therapist to join our Allied Health team at Calvary Healthcare Launceston St Vincent's and St Luke's campuses. This is a permanent part-time position working across a variety of inpatient areas including Medical, Surgical, Rehabilitation and Palliative Care. Flexible weekday work hours negotiable with the successful applicant.

Your main duties will include:

• Working as an effective member of the multidisciplinary team in the assessment, planning, implementation and review of occupational therapy and multidisciplinary interventions and programs.
• Conduct functional, cognitive, personal care and home assessment and provide appropriate education, advice and recommendations to patients, families and hospital staff based on the results.
• Participate in ongoing education delivery to staff, patients and families around best practise pressure care and aids and equipment options.
   

About You

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in occupational therapy
• Current AHPRA registration
• Current full drivers license
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and computer literacy
• Experience working in a hospital setting desirable.
• Experience conducting home assessments desirable.
