Operations Manager

 

Description:

The objective of the Operations Manager Role is to deliver and oversee the operational effectiveness and strategic growth of Townsville City Netball Association through the implementation of systems and processes within the prescribed operational framework. This multi-faceted position is focused on delivering quality outcomes for affiliated clubs, their members, and stakeholders, including relevant sporting bodies, state and local government agencies, the public, external parties (sponsors, media, and corporate partners), and trades and services.

 

Operating within a dynamic environment, the position requires the ability and willingness to work outside of regular work hours when required. The Operations Manager is required to maintain discretion and confidentiality and to always act in the best interests of the association.

 

Qualifications

  • Experience in sports facility management and operations
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills
  • Knowledge of netball rules and regulations
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
  • Bachelor's degree in Sports Management or related field
  • Working With Children (Blue Card)
  • Drivers License.
