Payroll Team Lead

This business is one of the leading companies in the healthcare industry. Due to continued business growth, this company is seeking a dynamic and motivated Payroll Team Lead/Manager to join their team on a 3-6 months Temp to Permanent basis.

This is an exciting leadership role whereby you will have the opportunity to lead a team of 3x Payroll Team Members and play a major role in process improvements/payroll projects. Ideally, you are an experienced payroll team lead/supervisor/manager who is adaptable, confident and has a passion for payroll. Please note the role is located in North Ryde / Macquarie Park.

On a day to day basis you will be responsible for:

• Ensure payroll is processed in a timely and accurate manner (on a Fortnightly basis)
• Interpret awards, be responsible for manual calculations, and analysing inquiries on a frequent basis.
• Coordinate, direct and control payroll preparation, processing and distribution
• Uphold high customer service standards and protocols across the business
• Develop strong internal and external relationships with key stakeholders
• Work collaboratively and as a team across departments
• Use your system experience to ensure staff are well trained and payroll systems are running at their best.
• Identify process improvements and implement these changes using your strong system knowledge.

The successful candidate will have:

• At least 5 years experience within a similar payroll position
• Strong background using large payroll systems, in particular ADP would be advantageous.
• Contribute to the positive and supportive culture that has been built.
• A hands on and proactive attitude to support the payroll function.
