People & Culture Intern

Description:

We are looking for a People and Culture Intern to join our team on a casual basis. This is a paid internship with the potential to join the team permanently in a full time graduate position at the completion of your studies.

As People and Culture Intern, you will report to a People and Culture Business Partner however will also provide support to the HumanKapital People and Culture Consultants on a variety of tasks.

Role Responsibilities
 

• Provide assistance and support for HumanKapital clients in the:
   

-Preparation of client policies, reports and presentations. Selection Criteria:
 

• Preparation of client training material.
• Research HR and WHS trends and issues.
• Recruitment support.
• Undertake research on key HR, WHS issues and trends.
• Assist in workplace investigations.
• Other ad hoc tasks as required.
   

This opportunity would suit someone who is currently studying Human Resources, Psychology, Business, Law or a related field.
 

• Sound communication skills.
• Ability to engage with people from a variety of backgrounds.
• Sound report writing, problem solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong emphasis on data security.
• Have discretion when dealing with confidential information.
• Sound computer skills including Office 365 (including MS Work, Excel and PowerPoint).
