Plumbing Estimator

Description:

The Plumbing Estimator will be responsible for accurately estimating the costs and resources required for plumbing projects. This includes interpreting project plans and specifications, conducting take-offs, obtaining quotes from suppliers and subcontractors, and preparing detailed cost estimates.

Responsibilities
 

• Review project plans, specifications, and other documents to understand the scope of work and project requirements
• Conduct material take-offs and accurately estimate the quantities of plumbing materials required
• Obtain quotes from suppliers and subcontractors for materials and services
• Analyze and evaluate quotes to ensure accuracy and competitiveness
• Prepare detailed cost estimates, including labor, materials, and subcontractor costs
• Coordinate with project managers and other team members to ensure smooth project delivery
• Track project costs and provide regular reports to management
   

Requirements
 

• Proven experience as a Plumbing Estimator
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems and materials
• Ability to read and interpret project plans and specifications
• Proficiency in using estimating software and tools
• Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
