Processing Attendant

Join Tassal’s fast-paced salmon processing factory in Dover (1.5 hours south of Hobart) as a casual Processing Attendant. In this role, you’ll assist with the processing and production of fresh salmon, working on a production line and operating machinery to cut, weigh, and package a range of products. You must be comfortable working in a cold, wet environment. Shifts typically run from 5am to 1pm, 7-days a week

Responsibilities

• Assist with the processing and production of fresh salmon on a production line.
• Operate machinery to cut, weigh, and package a variety of products.
• Maintain high standards of quality and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.
• Follow safety and hygiene protocols to ensure a safe and compliant workplace.

Role Requirements

• Full availability to work shifts Monday to Sunday each week.
• Immediate availability.
• Ability to work in a cold, wet food-processing environment.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Reliable transport to get to work (car and driver’s licence required).
• Forklift ticket highly desirable.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical assessment and drug test.
• Full-time working rights in Australia.
