Program Coordinator

The Midwifery Group Practice and Home Birthing program at Barwon Health are seeking a skilled and experienced midwife to co ordinate and lead our team. This leadership role will be involved in the planning and delivery of a high quality MGP service, whilst developing a professional, cohesive and collaborative partnership withing the Maternity services.

The successful applicant will need to have an understanding of caseload models and a passion for continuity of care. Experience with homebirth would be benefical. The role needs to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders including women and their families, obstetricians, core midwives and the neonatal services team.

This role is a administrative leadership position with no requirement for clinical load, however strong clinical skills and expereince will be necesary for occasional attendance at births as a second RM during business hours. Hours are 48 per fortnight, days negotiable.
