Established highly reputable multi-sector client side consultancy working on prestigious building jobs. Strong stakeholder management & leadership skills ideal.

Known as one of the leading firms in the delivery of building projects, this is a great opportunity to join a forward thinking, professional and dynamic project management consultancy.

A high degree of client and stakeholder liaison will be involved, from feasibility stage to delivery stage of the project. Leadership, communication and people management skillset will be paramount along with a strong base of technical knowledge.

Candidates can come from client side, PM consultancy, main contractor or consulting engineering firms.

Projects are of a multi sector nature including health, education, commercial, mixed-use and residential nature with some hospitality as well. Experience on these projects or having a similar background would be ideal however future projects are across multiple sectors generally.

The company has a multi-state presence and is an employer of choice. Will be joining a growing Brisbane office.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Client management and consultation
• Project Planning/Feasibility studies
• Risk Management
• Value Engineering
• Design Management
• Procurement of construction services
• Delivery of construction services
• Cost control and cost reporting and superintendent
• Commissioning and post contract duties for handover
• Managing preconstruction through to delivery and handover

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor of Construction Management or property related qualification
• 5 to 10 plus years of end to end project management on building projects
• Experience in Business Development or a strong network would be an advantage
• Leadership skills
• Strategic thinker who is able to see the bigger picture
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Previous client side project management experience ideal
