Residential Manager

Description:

This role works within the Mission in Action of HammondCare to lead, motivate and empower staff to deliver high quality and individualised care to the residents in a calm, supportive and safe environment. The role is accountable for oversight of all aspects of clinical care provision, direction and performance of the Residential home.

HammondCare Waratah is a 232 bed service with four hubs. The Waratah management team is made up of 4 Residential Managers and 4 Clinical Care Managers, and this position is responsible for one of these hubs with 53 beds.

This role will be supported by a Regional Operations Manager, three other Residential Managers, a close clinical support team and enabling team members.

To be successful in this role, you will have:
 

• Registered Nurse qualification with current AHPRA registration.
• Essential - Experience managing and supervising in complex Dementia Care residential or similar service.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, manage, motivate and develop a team
• Commitment to engage and align with HammondCare’s Christian Mission, Motivation and Mission in Action.
• Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
• High level communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong initiative, analytical skills and problem-solving skills.
