Risk Manager

Description:

The Risk Manager role is part of the Identity, Payments and Financial Services (IP&FS) Risk Team, within Operations and Business Performance. The IP&FS Risk Team is responsible for maintaining the IP&FS Risk Framework and facilitating the product and business Risk identification, Compliance identification, product and delivered Risk Assessment process, measurement, management and reporting within the IP&FS Business Unit

Acting as a first line risk advisor, the Risk Manager will collaborate with the IP&FS product teams other functions to provide Risk and Governance support, advice and insight.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Support the Senior Manager, Risk Management to develop and execute strategic objectives that improve and enhance the Risk Culture and Risk Maturity of the IP&FS business.
• Facilitate Risk Workshops, perform Risk Reviews, and provide business unit Risk and Control Owners with practical advice on Risk Identification, Risk Assessment, Risk Mitigation and implementation of an efficient and effective controls framework.
• Maintain the IP&FS Risk Profile and contribute to the regular review and improvement of the profile.
• Work with 2nd line Risk and Compliance resources to develop appropriate business unit policies and tools to assist the business unit meet its strategic objectives.
• Ensure effective Risk Management governance through the Risk Management Forum.
• Be responsible for the documentation of risks and issues within the business unit and owning the Operational Risk Register
