Founded in 1991, Rockman is one of the largest Asian food and beverage importers and distributors with offices in Sydney and Melbourne. We are experiencing year-on-year growth and distributing more than 1000 different types of Asian food and beverage products across Australia. 

About the role

We are looking for a full-time sales representative to support the sales activities. To succeed in this role, the candidate must be proactive and detail-oriented, with excellent communication skills and a focus on driving top-line business results.

You will be responsible but are not limited to:

• Generate & qualify sales opportunities with online and retailers via direct outreach across email, phone, offline and other touchpoints
• Servicing existing customers as well as exploring new business opportunities to achieve the sales target
• Monitor daily sales performance and respond promptly to meet the challenging market situations
• Execute sales and marketing plans to achieve customer penetration and business target
• Accurate note-taking and record upkeep
• Participate in promotion activities when required 

What you’ll bring to the role:

• 2 years+ local sales experience with a proven track record of success 
• Great interpersonal skills - outgoing and bubbly personality
• Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize with sensitivity to deadlines
• Have positive, aggressive, goal-oriented attitudes and growth mindset and can be motivated both as an individual and as part of a team
• Possess strong negotiation skills and can effectively advance leads through the sales cycle
• Previous experience in food, catering business or hotel industry is highly regarded
• Good command of both written and spoken in English and Chinese (must be fluent in Mandarin or Cantonese)
• Possess own car and valid NSW driver's license
