Sales Manager

 

Description:

  • Develop and execute annual business and sales plans with key customers, ensuring performance targets are met through regular monitoring and reporting.
  • Proactively identify and build new business opportunities, especially in Queensland, aligning with the company’s growth strategy and regional expansion goals.
  • Drive sales growth through direct engagement with customers at all levels — from installers and procurement officers to senior executives (CEOs and managers).
  • Negotiate pricing, contract terms, and credit conditions with customers to secure favorable outcomes for both parties.
  • Maintain strong follow-up with clients to ensure timely payment collection and adherence to agreed credit terms.
  • Deliver accurate and timely forecasts on demand, pricing, and payment collection with monthly reporting and weekly updates as required.
  • Cultivate and manage long-term relationships with key accounts, focusing on customer satisfaction, retention, and continuous value delivery.
  • Monitor market dynamics and competitor activities to maintain a strong competitive edge and identify emerging opportunities.
  • Operate independently and manage daily responsibilities with minimal supervision, while being open to guidance, mentorship, and coaching from senior leadership.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by management to support broader commercial and operational goals.

 

Skills Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Proven experience and proficiency in sales and business development, preferably in B2B environments.
  • Experience or understanding of the PV/solar industry is advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and build rapport with diverse stakeholders across various levels of an organization.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven with the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and potentially overseas on short notice.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
