As a Senior Telecommunications Design Engineer, you’ll help find clever solutions to interesting problems as you grow your skills every day. And you’ll do it with down-to-earth people who you’re proud to work with and get to know. Here’s how:
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team, responsible for designs of commercial and operational telecommunication systems and services needed to support the critical Queensland HV transmission network
- Analyse scope and deliver undertake the detailed telecommunications designs role on allocated projects, in the aforementioned technologies to meet time, cost and quality requirements
- Develop telecommunications design estimates for assigned projects and tasks. This involves discussing technologies with other members of the design team and following established design philosophies
- Become a subject matter expert in telecommunications, make critical design decisions and influence decision makers of the Power System across the organisation
What You’ll Bring
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Telecommunications Engineering
- Be a registered Professional Engineer Queensland (RPEQ) in a relevant field of expertise for this position
