Senior Interior Designer

As the Interior Design Team Leader, you will lead a team of talented Interior Designers, mentoring, training, and developing them to achieve exceptional design outcomes while adhering to project briefs and budgets.

THE ROLE:

• Recruit, mentor, train, and lead a team of Interior Designers to deliver outstanding design outcomes.
• Work closely with the Project Management team to schedule key interior design activities and oversee project execution.
• Conduct thorough interior design brief meetings with clients to establish requirements and budgets.
• Develop innovative interior design concepts, material palettes, and finishes to meet client briefs.
• Coordinate appointments and assist clients in selecting fixtures, materials, and finishes.
• Review and document design packages, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Coordinate with external suppliers and contractors to ensure quality and timely delivery of materials and services.
• Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and innovation in design practices.

SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field.
• Proven experience in leading interior design teams and delivering exceptional design outcomes.
• Proficiency in design software such as SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong project management and organisational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Commitment to continuous learning and improvement in the field of interior design.
