Senior Platform Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Senior Platform Engineer with expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This is a 6 month Contract with a high chance of extension based in Richmond, VIC,
As the selected candidate, you will:

• Design, build, and implement GCP solutions following approved architecture patterns.
• Provide technical leadership in coding, configuration, and automation.
• Support security, compliance, and vulnerability remediations within GCP.
• Collaborate with teams to improve cloud adoption and operational efficiency.
• Drive automation, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud native best practices.
• Influence cloud platform strategy and product roadmaps.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

• 5-7 years of experience in cloud platform development and management, especially GCP.
• Strong knowledge of GCP services, security, and infrastructure.
• Experience with programming languages like Golang and tools such as Terraform, GitLab, YAML.
• Relevant cloud certifications are highly desirable.
• Good communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Problem-solving mindset and ability to lead or influence teams.
