Description:
As a Senior Project Architect, you will lead the design and execution of high-end residential projects, working closely with clients and a talented team of architects and designers. With a highly regarded presence in Melbourne, the growing team in Sydney is looking for an individual who can take the lead and potentially become the Associate Director for NSW.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the conceptual design and development of projects from inception to completion.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and translate it into architectural designs.
- Manage project teams, providing guidance, mentoring, and support to junior architects and designers.
- Ensure that projects are executed to the highest standards of design, quality, and efficiency.
- Oversee the preparation of construction documents, specifications, and material selections.
- Manage project budgets and timelines, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule and within budget.
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless project execution.
- Manage projects throughout construction phase including going on-site.
- Contribute to the growth of the Sydney team.
- Maintain a deep understanding of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in architecture.
Qualifications:
- A degree in Architecture from an accredited institution.
- NSW Registered Architect.
- 10+ years local experience including Project Architect position and high-end residential projects.
- Proficiency in Revit.
- Strong leadership and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and client management abilities.
- A passion for design and a commitment to excellence.
