Senior Structural Engineer

Summary Our Tier 1 EPCM client seeks an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to work on a major project, Perth based on an initial 12-month contract.

They will be asking you to provide engineering design expertise for a major sustaining project for an existing mine of a Tier 1 mining company.

What you will bring
 

• Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering (recognized by Engineers Australia).
• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in Structural Engineering Design.
• Proficient in independently producing deliverables, particularly calculations and material take-offs (MTOs), for this specific role.
• Preference for experience in mining non-process infrastructure.
• Consideration given to candidates with onshore oil and gas project experience, but recent mining experience is required.
• High energy and driven individuals preferred.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Proficiency in SPACEGASS is essential.
• Advantageous to have experience with OpenBuildings Designer (formerly AECOsim Structural) 3D and Integrated Structural Modelling (ISM) engines for Staad to ProSteel, although not mandatory, it is appreciated.
