Site Engineer

Ericsson Australia is growing! As a result, we are now looking for a Site Engineer. The Site Engineer role plays an important part in supporting the FSO organization to provide services 1 and 2, described above to the rest of Ericsson, by installing and maintaining transmission systems.

• To assist our Installation/Network Field Maintenance staff with maintenance of troubled sites and perform preventive maintenance.
• Customer Satisfaction
• Site delivery with in time lines and Acceptance
• Climbing of Radio base station tower and working in height.
• Installation and changing antenna and radio equipment.
• Troubleshooting of passive radio equipment such as feeder, connectors and jumpers
• Alignment of radio antennas.
• The Rigger shall maintain a direct working relationship with other internal / external units related to the field maintenance team such as
• Project Staff
• Ericsson Network Rollout units
• Experienced climber.
• At Least one year experience in the field of Telecommunications
• Preferable to have three years experience in installation and commissioning of towers
• A great teammate
• Focused on customers and quality
• Open, honest and clear in communications
• Innovative in finding new ways of implementing tasks and achieving targets
